We've been closely documenting Kristen Stewart's foray into the high fashion department -- or more specifically, the sheer fashion department. There was the lace Marchesa gown at the "Snow White And The Huntsman" premiere, followed by the nude-colored Zuhair Murad gown with a complete sheer bottom, followed by the pièce de résistance: a sheer sparkly jumpsuit, also by Zuhair Murad.
But the insouciant star outdid herself on Thursday evening at a screening for "On The Road" in an outfit of a different sort: a see-through Erdem dress that was really a wrinkly satin bra-and-shorts set with a sheer panel covering the front. Oh, and the whole thing was slashed about 6 inches shorter than intended.
Stewart paired the playsuit-cum-dress with neon Christian Louboutin pumps, which are pretty cool shoes but did the odd outfit no favors. We just have one question for KStew's stylist: if the dress was already completely see-through in the front, was it necessary to raise the hemline, too?
Also, did it not occur to anyone to steam this thing?
OK, that was two questions. But we're just so confused. See the outfit for yourself (and the original runway version) and tell us what you think.
